Pickleball
Forging Personal Connections Through Sport
We aim to provide opportunities to build relationships with members of our community in order to share the love of Christ. We share the vision of encouraging other players to do their best and believe in their ability to play well with the God-given talents they possess.

Never played before? No problem! Check out How to Play and Court Rules.

Our courts are available to all for open play every day from dawn to dusk (except during Sunday Worship Services). Courts can also be reserved for tournaments and special events.

HOw to Play
Pickleball is quick and easy to learn! Once you pick up a paddle and a ball, you can be playing your first game within a few minutes.

At Center Church, the courts and nets are permanent, so all you need to start playing is a paddle, a pickleball and someone to play with. Be sure to wear soft soled shoes (your sneakers or tennis shoes will do). And if it's hot out, be sure to bring some fluids to stay hydrated.
Check out the video below for a quick tutorial. Official Pickleball rules are here.
Court Reservations
Our courts are available for use by the community. To reserve a court, simply submit a facilities use request form to the church office at info@centerchurchgc.org.

Court rental fees will be listed here soon.
Pickleball Testimonials
“Many faith discussions/comments between play.”
“The community it creates is like family. Half the people in my phone contacts have the last name pickleball!”
“A person can play at high level & play down to lower level to work on a certain part of your game.”
“Pickleball allows us the time to actually feel connected and a part of something.”
“Takes minutes to learn but decades to master!”
“At the fun/social level, it’s easily learned and played by diverse groups of abilities. Unlike tennis, you can play a basic game the same day you first pick up a paddle.”
“Love that I can still move, laugh at my mistakes, and have become part of a
group of welcoming people.”
“Pickleball is addictive because it can be recreational or competitive. It can be low impact or intense. It’s simple to learn and easy to organize games. Minimal equipment is needed. It can be played indoor or outdoors. But the biggest side effect of pickleball is meeting new people. Friendships are built on pickleball courts unlike any other sport!”
